2007 Charlottesville Homes Tours
A revolutionary idea that helps sellers, buyers and the community!!
The real estate market nationwide has gone through some challenging times from a home seller's perspective. As a Realtor who works with both buyers and sellers, this prompted me to consider ways to "think outside the box" in terms of finding ways to maximize exposure for my seller clients, while providing real value to the buying public and the community in general.
What I came up with is an aggressive marketing effort to promote an existing concept - the neighborhood homes tour. Neighborhood homes tours are a collaborative effort by local real estate firms and agents that have active listings for sale in a particular subdivision or neighborhood...showcasing all of the listings, as well as the neighborhood.
By pooling our advertising dollars, we are able to publish full-page ads in various publications for each homes tour; and by agreeing to hold a coordinated set of Open Houses on the same day, we are able to offer the buying public the chance to see what an entire neighborhood has to offer, all in one day.
